Malley & Tanner

Malley and Tanner’s wedding day started at The Paxton House, an historic 1884 home in the heart of Thomasville, Georgia. The girls chose this location to spend the day getting ready.

Getting ready

The Groom

First looks

Malley had a first look on the porch with her girls and her dad. Then the bride and groom had their first look together. It was an emotional moment and so sweet.

The Ceremony

Malley and Tanner were married at First Methodist Church in Thomasville. Built in 1840, this historic landmark embodies the grace and elegance of its era. With its striking facade and intricate detailing, the church exudes a sense of timeless beauty and reverence. Its stately bell tower reaches toward the sky. Inside, the sanctuary boasts lofty ceilings adorned with delicate stained glass windows, casting colorful patterns of light onto the polished wooden pews below. The sanctuary was full that day, and the bell rang loudly as everyone celebrated the newlyweds.

The Reception

The reception was held at The Biscuit Company, another gem in Thomasville. The Biscuit Company, located in Historic Downtown Thomasville, GA, previously housed a branch of The National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) in the early 1900’s, and later the Sunshine Biscuit Company. Today, it hosts events of all kinds. The brick walls and industrial vibe make it the perfect spot for big celebrations. Malley’s grandparents, who owned a flower shop for many years, helped transform the space with lush greenery and florals. Trellis walls created a garden seating chart, neatly manicured topiaries surrounded the dancefloor, and a garden fountain filled with greenery was the centerpiece of the dining room. One of my favorite pieces was the floral arch the guests, and finally the couple, walked through as they entered.

The Paella dinner was amazing and the epic Italian wedding cake was a first for us! It was so big, it had to be built onsite.

Malley and Tanner had a sweet, private last dance at the end of the night. It all went by too fast, but it was an amazing day, from start to finish. We wish Malley and Tanner many, many years of happiness together!
